organ listing by builder

Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepcion de Vicuña

Mechanical traction instrument for notes and registers.

Doctor Luis González tells us

We visited this instrument with the French organ builder Yves Koenig in December 2004, who deduced that the instrument was built around 1850, probably in France.

We deduced the composition of the registers from than what appears on the chest base.

A notable element of this instrument is that the keyboard and pedal board start on the note B (see photo),   more...

which could be an indication of "ravalement", that is, the organ has a lower note than the first Do.

The organ is in the most absolute state of abandonment since the high choir of the Church was is very deteriorated.

It is highly recommended, and so we made it known on that occasion, to remove the instrument from that place.
