and the nomenclature of classical Italian organ building.
It was built by the Casa Giuseppe Bernasconi of Varese, Milan.
The date of 1881 that appears on the plate, in the console, seems to correspond to the year of
foundation of the factory, but, in any case, the characteristics of this body
would allow us to date it to that time - the end of the last century, rather than the beginning of
current century.
