Parroquia San Ambrosio de Vallenar

Dr. Luis González tells us:

John Moir worked on this organ, completing some missing pipes.

Mechanical traction instrument built by Don Oreste A. Carlini in 1912.

The entire instrument is enclosed in an expressive box, except Montre's register and Pedal's basses.

Dear friend, as you are, I hope you are well,

Here we are very well. Thank God, except for the unfortunate news that our San Ambrosio Parish Organ suffered damage later that it would get wet and debris would fall from a roof, (due to a simple rain).

There are three registers that are blocked, we went almost days later to see on the ground and we began to dismantle some parts to be able to see the real damage in it, I am sending you attached photos of the sky above the organ, the rubble and the organ.

We are working to see what can be done. Hopefully you could guide us on this, we will be in touch.

Atte.
