Dr. Luis González tells us the following:
It was located on Portugal Street and was attended by the Daughters of Charity. The Lazarist Fathers sent him to the San Vicente de Paul Parish of Playa Ancha when the Hospice was demolished. I always understood that the organ builder John Moir had bought it to use spare parts in their organ expansions, but my brother Patricio nevertheless told me that the organ was still in its place in Playa Ancha. This information must be verified. |
