We visited this organ with John Moir in 1972, when Mons. Francisco de Borja Valencuela Rios was Archbishop. and we repaired it, delivering it with a massive concert. Although I do not possess the composition of the registers at this time, I remember that it was almost identical to the Old composition of the organ of the Santa Ana de Santiago Church, probably with one less register. The action of the organ is pneumatic. On my last visit to the organ, it looked in a deplorable state and greatly affected by termites, and a large number of pipes were missing. |
