In 1975, the association of organists of Chile celebrated the centenary of this instrument,
the first - and the best, so we believe - Walcker organ installed in Chile.
On that occasion, we had the opportunity to play this noble instrument for the last time.
In 1974 a change was made in the registration of the organ thanks to a donation from the Adveniat Organization of Germany.
The Organ of the Augustinian Church was declared a Historical Monument on November 24, 1977.
In July 2004, the date on which this clarification was added, this is the only body in Chile that has that distinction.
