Born in Puerto Montt in 1955, taking his first steps in music under the family guidance, mainly on piano.

After a few years of study in organ and conducting with Dr. Luis González and Professor Alejandro Reyes respectively, he obtained a scholarship to study church music in Germany (1984 ‑ 1991).

He has participated on numerous occasions in the Frutillar Musical Weeks as a cembalist, organist and choir director (along with his Pange Lingua Vocal Ensemble founded in 1991).

Carlos Weil has also participated in the inauguration as well as As in the organ concerts of the Municipal Theater of Santiago, he was a soloist in the 2000 season of the University of Chile and in the Church of San Agustín in 2002.

In August 2003 he participated in the Summer Organ Academy held annually at the Ratzeburg Cathedral, Germany, and in its concert season, in addition to other presentations.
