Felipe Dominguez (b. 1983) is a Chilean/American organist, harpsichordist and musicologist, born and raised in Talcahuano, Chile.

In 2010, he received a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Organ Performance with a minor in Political Science from Brigham Young University.

Later, in 2012, he earned a Master’s of Music (M.M.) in Organ Performance from the same institution.

He has pursued further postgraduate organ and harpsichord im_fdinstruction in Europe with Edoardo Belotti, Hans Davidsson, Harald Vogel, Francesco Cera, Leon Berben and Luc Ponet.

In 2014, he obtained the degree of Master’s in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Musicology (with a minor in Library Science) at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

At Brigham Young University, Mr. Dominguez studied organ and harpsichord with Dr. Douglas Bush and organ with Dr. Don Cook.

He also studied harmony and 20th Century music with Dr. Christian Asplund, and conducting with Don Peterson.

While at Brigham Young University, he had the opportunity to perform often at University devotionals as well as LDS Church firesides that were broadcasted live worldwide.

He was also the harpsichordist and organist of the University Chamber Orchestra between 2010 and 2011.

Mr. Dominguez has served as a church musician for many denominations – playing the organ/piano and conducting choirs and ensembles – since the year 2000.

He currently serves as Organist and Music Director (organist from 2011 through 2017) at First Presbyterian Church of Annandale, Virginia.

He has performed as a soloist and in ensembles in Chile, Argentina, Europe, and United States.

dditionally, since 2011 he has had a successful career in business as a Contracting Officer for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority in Washington, DC.

Mr. Dominguez lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Brandi and four children.
