Jean Bourgarel (*1933) was an apprentice in the workshop of Victor Gonzales from 1953 to 1960.
In 1962, he founded his own company in Moissey, in collaboration with Philippe Hartmann (1928‑2014). The firm closed in 1998.
The photograph shows one of the organs built by Bourgarel Jean Bourgarel (OPUS 32, 1972).
The instrument in the image is similar in structure and appearance to the organ installed in
the Santiago College of Lo Barnechea, but with a different registration.
